FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN MAT, TOWEL & BLANKET.
MOST CLASSES ARE STREAMED FROM THE STUDIO - IF YOU'RE UNABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON YOU NOW HAVE THE OPTION OF JOINING A STREAMING CLASS.
THERE ARE SEPARATE LISTINGS FOR STUDIO & VIRTUAL CLASSES- PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU BOOK FOR THE RIGHT ONE.

In addition to classes we offer workshops in a wide range of wellbeing practices like Breathwork, Sound healing, Nutrition, Energetics and more.

We practice and teach Authentic yoga, by which we mean yoga in its traditional form, which includes breathing techniques and relaxation.

Whether you want to challenge yourself physically or indulge in complete relaxation we have a class on the timetable to suit your needs. Whichever class you choose you will leave on a natural high feeling better in body, mind and spirit.

FULL CLASSES

Class capacity is 10 during Covid-19. For health and safety and insurance compliance we cannot make exceptions. Please do not drop in on the off-chance of a place if the class is shown as full on the timetable.

For classes with a waiting list students are automatically notified by email when a place becomes available.

CANCELLATIONS

BY US We will advise pre-booked students directly by email or text.

BY YOU Cancellation of a booking can be done up to 12 hours before the class start time. We do not issue refunds but your account will be credited with a class pass if you cancel in this time frame.

The Studio at Mila reserves the right to amend class times and prices, but will always provide fair warning in advance.

    Most of these are suitable for beginners

    • Restorative yoga

      Gentle stretching assisted by props and a safe guiding hand; ideal for recuperation from injury or simply deep relaxation.

      Deep, long stretching to release tension in the fascia (connective tissue). A relaxing practice with a focus on stillness of body, breath, and mind.

    • Foundations Yoga

      A mix movement and static holds in poses. This approach is beneficial to build both strength and flexibility. Suitable for all including beginners.

    • Jivamukti

      Jivamukti is vinyasa-based yoga practice rooted in the ancient philosophical texts that teach non-violence, devotion, inner listening and meditation. These tenets are set to a backdrop of music and a challenging yet playful asana class, complete with breath work, chanting and self-reflection..

      Thursday 9:30 to 11:00 with Lizzie Reumont

    • Mainly for Men

      In a blend of postures, movement, breath-work and relaxation this class will take the edge off your stress, build strength and boost stamina, and calm your mind. Originally designed as a class solely for men this early morning session is now open to both men and women.

    • Inversions

      Yoga inversions are a fantastic, vibrant family of postures: handstand, forearm balance, headstand, shoulder stand. Small class size. All welcome

      A balance of traditional asana and flow routines, with a focus on opening the body with the breath. Go with the flow mindfully, offload stress and revitalise.
